I learned a great deal about growing vegetables and running a farm. It was always a lot of fun to boot! I now live in Boston, where farmer's markets are more popular each year. I've never seen one down here that matched the variety Bob and Jane grow in Grand Isle. I worked for the Pomykalas 5-10 years ago, one summer full-time and on weekends for a few more years.
